A bitter-sweet story, about the beginning of a friendship between a 9-year-old daredevil MARIO and an eccentric gay young man BORCE, challenged by the fear and the prejudices of Mario's parents, in a small remote Macedonian town.
Born 1985 in Macedonia, he graduated film directing at NATFA in Sofia, Bulgaria. His short documentary NOTHING IN THE AIR premiered at SOFIA IN- TERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL. His graduation project KINDER SURPRISE was awarded the Audience Award at the SIFF. A medium length musical comedy SHUSH... SING TO ME premiered at the VILNIUS IFF2014 and is already enjoying a cult status in Bulgaria. The same year he participated at BERLINALE TALENTS and SARAJEVO TALENTS. His short script FICUS was selected in the program SARAJEVO, CITY OF FILM and premiered during the SARAJEVO IFF 2018. He developed his first feature film titled “The Sweet Bitterness of Ripe Pomegranates” with Torino Script Lab 2019. At the moment he participating Serial-Eyes – Writing and producing TV series workshop in Berlin.
