Frano, a film director, is preparing his debut feature, which will focus on women affected by the collapse of the textile industry in the region. The topic, as well as the main character, is inspired by his aunt who used to work in the industry. In order to find the star of the film, he invites three esteemed actresses to his apartment for an informal reading rehearsal. However, as soon as they realise they are competing against each other for the lead role, things take an unexpected turn.


Sara Hribar was born in Zagreb in 1986, She studied film and tv directing at the Academy of Dramatic Art in Zagreb. Since 2005. she's been cooperating as a scriptwriter and director at HRT. She is the author of several theatre and radio dramas as well as TV series.. She received the Golden Pram Award for her directorial debut in the film ‘Pusti me da spavam’ / ‘Let me sleep’ at the 5th Zagreb Film Festival. In 2013 she was nominated for a Grand Off in Warsaw. She won multiple awards with the film";Lada Kamenski" including a Golden Arena for Best Screenplay, the FEDEORA award for Best Croatian Feature Film, the Breza Award for Best Debutant etc.
